Food was very good, also vegan dishes to choose from which taste excellent. Friendly service. In times of Covid you also feel very safe because distance rules are observed. Will definitely be back soon.

Price-performance ratio bad. In our opinion, the restaurant is not recommended. The room itself was quite cozy, but there was definitely no background music. We ordered two different schnitzel dishes with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes weren't really fried, no bacon, no onions or herbs. The meat went so far, although we have eaten much better schnitzel here in the Allgäu. The vegetables were tough and not well cooked in any way. Accordingly, we denied the waitress when asked whether the food was tasty. The attempt to explain what did not taste failed because the waitress fixated on the vegetables and explained that the hard vegetables were so popular and we should have said what if we wanted the vegetables to be softer ... well if we had known that the food is so bad, we would not have gone there in the first place. But since we cannot look into the future and were eating here for the first time, we found the statement of the waitress to be quite outrageous. We will definitely not be eating here again. ?

The decor was nice and clean, unfortunately no music was played. The food was unfortunately prepared carelessly and the complaint with the service staff was not dealt with. It's a shame I know that really different in the Allgäu, the price is in no relation to the performance.

There is very, very good food there. The service is super friendly and always in a good mood and ready for any fun. The boss does everything he can to satisfy each of his guests. Keep it up, we look forward to seeing you again. ?

Quality and quantity of the food were very good. Service, friendliness and corona organization excellent. Beer garden unfortunately not very cozy, shady and without a nice view.

We wanted to have dinner in the beer garden and end a nice day in beautiful surroundings. However, the waitress denied us entry because we are not allowed to wear masks for health reasons. We had the certificates with us, which the lady was not in the least interested in. We went and felt as discriminated and excluded as people must have felt in the 30s / 40s of the last century, who were excluded and ultimately persecuted. Should this thinking and acting have survived here in this inn? This inn is absolutely not recommended. Enjoy your meal in a more pleasant environment. Bavaria is so beautiful.

Professionals at work in the dining room and in the kitchen! The rump steak was perfect and the day menu also had great dishes. Definitely try the Allgäu whiskey (5 year old)

Friends of mine are on vacation nearby for a week over Pentecost. I took the opportunity to visit the motorcycle for one night. I had almost given up hope of a short-term single room during the Pentecost holidays, but the Gasthof Schäffler offered me a single room at a very fair price! The inn offers a lovely flair with very friendly and fun-understanding hosts and staff. The rooms are modern and have everything you need. The bed is very big. Bathroom and bed very clean and tidy. I did not book the breakfast offer, but enjoyed a very good and above all inexpensive dinner with friends. Because of the current situation (03.06.2020) we had to end the evening at 10 p.m. The staff kindly pointed this out to us and adhered to the rules of the Bavarian State Ministry. The guest toilet (not room) was clean, just smelled a little harsh. You could do some improvements here.

My husband and I were here in the beer garden yesterday. The food was delicious, lovingly prepared and the staff very friendly. We would love to come back.

Really a very nice place. The menu is small and clear, but you can always find something tasty. The food is really a dream. The salads at the salad bar are always fresh, no matter when you come. The service is very friendly and there are always special recommendations.

Beautifull Family Ownerhotel. We stay there for 2 Days. The Chefs are the BEst of the Hotel. I would to taste everey Meal of the Beergarden and Resturant, but it was to Many. In the Evening I meet cool Guys at the Bar. International Guys I think. Take also a Look to the Villages around Sonthofen. They are Beautifull.

Very nice service you can sit very quiet and comfortable great terrace or beer garden food excellent eat large portions. Feel always well. Super cute funny chef over. the inn we can not say anything, have not stayed.
